Macron Accuses US of Trade ‘Double Standard’ Amid Energy Crunch

Double standards? Why would the US take any less for their LNG than Europeans are willing to pay to stay warm? Macron conveniently forgets that US LNG sellers are not state-owned companies – they are private entities. They must do what is best for their bottom line. And let’s not forget – Europeans were warned more than once that their actions might get them into hot water – not least by Trump. They chose to snicker – yes you too Macron – and now they have earned the fools medal. They don’t like it very much – I get that. But they earned it fair and square. Suck it up.
