Macron’s Climate Panel–What Could Possibly Go Wrong?
Leaders that don’t want to lead and search for plenty of advance excuses for – whatever – surround themselves with large committees. Gives the impression that they listen to the people. But what that does is allowing the leader to escape his job obligations. Harry Truman had a sign on his desk saying “The buck stops here”. He was a leader and did not look for excuses. Not even for the atomic bombs. Macron and the vast majority of world leaders are cut from much weaker cloth.
