Major new paleoclimatology study shows (claims) global warming has upended 6,500 years of cooling
How does one measure 0,7 degrees over 6500 years? Especially when knowing that any temperature measurement from before 1800 was sparse and not in the 0,1-degree range and that the first thermometer was invented 300 years ago by Fahrenheit. Let’s be real, any temperature from before 1700 is pure speculation and every data communicated should be consumed with a boatload of salt. But we know what temperatures trees need to survive. And if we find 1000-year-old rootstocks frozen in Greenland then we know that temperatures at this time must have been at least as warm or warmer. And knowing that today its too cold for them we also must deduce that 1000 years ago it was warmer than now. Thats better data than those finger-in-nose guesses.
