Media Try To Discredit Inconvenient Record Temperature In 1913
If your narrative is “it’s getting hotter every year” then a temperature record thats more than a century old clearly is annoying. And the dogma must always be right – if it’s not it will be made right as we have seen countless times so far. But I have another reality to wrap our grey mater around. This summer we have heard a lot of temperature extremes and record heat but in my home city Vienna, the mercury never quite reached 40 degrees Celsius for the whole Summer so far. Never mind that for the last 5 years we had long stretches reaching up to 42 degrees. In fact, it has gotten cooler this year. Perceptibly so. This is not some normalized data. This is the reality that people feel on the ground. So much for rising heat. The Summer is almost up.
