Michael Mann: “A second Trump term is game over for the climate – really!”
Mann is doing Trump a favor. Because all this vilification goes down bad with ordinary Americans. We had almost 4 years with the orange man in charge now and although it has been a very movement almost 4 years, there were peace deals, there wee new trade agreements, there was a booming pre-COVID economy, and there were better conditions for most Americans (and especially minorities) than ever before in recorded history. People are not dumb. They got used to his sometimes non-sensical tweets as he also delivers. They know that he is unhinged, but he is not Sauron and he does plenty of good. Mann is laughing stock – not that this would be a change to how we saw him before.
