Michigan State: Recycle Wind Turbine Blades as Gummy Bears

I saw a Charlton Heston movie when I was a kid that reminds me of this. If you are old enough you might remember Soylent Green. In the film, Soylent Green was the dominant source of proteins for a hungry population. But it was not made of some kind of algae as was claimed but from corpses. At the time I shuddered but was sure that this would never happen to us. It’s just too crazy. Was I being naive?

According to Michigan State University professor John Dorgan, making wind turbine blades out of edible resin would allow them to be recycled as food.
