Minerals Processing: The Missing Middle Step In U.S. Battery Ambitions
As long as the production of batteries, solar panels and much other stuff we need for the unreliable energy revolution happens in Cina, we don’t see its nasty side. Imagine we would have those operations in Europe or North America. Considering the amount of stuff that needs to be dug up I assume this would not go down well. Probably lots of NIMBY – better leave it where no one sees it. It’s not like we have a planet to save.
