Mining for electric-powering minerals has left 23 million people exposed to toxic waste

We always see only the children mining metals in Congo and this is horrific but there is so much more. Just pick out China and a slew of other such countries. They can produce what they produce so cheaply because they completely waste their own environments. When we buy cheap solar panels from China, we export pollution on a gargantuan scale. Same with wind turbines. Or EV batteries. If we applied Western world environmental standards to all those products, we would finally see the true cost but greens can never accept that. Death and misery in China and Africa are far away. Easy to accept for them.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
