‘Money is starting to come back:’ Investors look to Canada as shine comes off U.S. shale oil
It’s about time that shale goes into its next evolutionary cycle. Tons of money from the big shooters have allowed everyone to experiment, to try out what works and whatnot. Those processes are always very wasteful and cause the death of many projects who make too many bad guesses. But it also leaves a lot of new know-how on the table that will further be played with. Its time for shale to sort out those to stuffy from those that have a willingness to walk the tough walk. So, will we see new investment in Canada? Yes or no, why would that matter to shale?
