More heavy-duty truck fleets make the switch to renewable natural gas
We are still in an early phase of gasification of the US transport sector. Once this starts to seriously take hold – and it will – there won’t be one single drop of LNG to export as the internal market will give them better prices. At the same time it would lower expensive oil imports even further. And they don’t need China for this – its all made in America. US trucks, US gas and cleaner US air. What’s not to like?
The demand for clean, cost-effective renewable natural gas as vehicle fuel continues to rise as Clean Energy Fuels announced it has reached agreements with trucking firms to lease or purchase more than 250 new heavy-duty trucks, fueled by its Redeem™ biomethane.
