MPs and business urge government to accelerate net-zero plan
With business, they mean big corporations. Because this whole climate show will create a whole swathe of new complex regulations that will cost smaller businesses a lot more compliance money. Legal departments of bigger corporations are better placed to deal with this creating an advantage for them. And the additional taxes on top can also be much better managed (massaged away) in a large corporation than in a small company. Big business loves the superstate – it kills their smaller competitors.
