Natural feedback or human activities? A new study points to agricultural and industrial sources as the main cause to the soaring atmospheric methane

Methane is very prevalent in the Solar System and indeed the entire Universe. The most famous example is the Saturnian moon Titan where liquid methane lakes cover the surface. But methane has also been found in significant amounts on all planets and on a great number of moons. Even dwarf planet Pluto has methane dunes. And there are free-floating methane clouds between the stars. If all this is organic in origin, how did it get there? Is the universe teeming with life? Does the man in the Moon pass gas which would explain the presence of methane there?
