I am a Natural Gas man so I guess I should applaud now. Maybe the comparison is extreme but we have just seen the results of trying to find compromise with organizations and people that only accept maximalist positions in Israel. Do I think Climate Alarmists are like Hamas? Not yet – but the mindset is there. Trying to adopt their talk while trying to run a conventional energy service company is an act of rope-dancing that can never succeed in the long term. CEOs of major energy companies are sellouts if they adopt this kind of speak and they just encourage alarmists to take more, and more, and more – until one day nobody will be able to live anymore. Time to grow a spine Mr CEO.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
