Net Zero could cost Americans more than $50 trillion, new paper warns

50 Trillion you say? What is that? The average person cannot deal with such numbers. Most highly educated persons struggle with the concept of a trillion USD. Billions are a lot, trillions are unimaginable. What we need is someone who figures out what impact this is going to have on individual lives. How much more in taxes are we expected to pay? How much will inflation reduce our livelihoods? How much less will we get in terms of money and service from those public places? Will there still be good schools, or cops, or medical establishments, or roads and bridges and whatelse? Show people how their lives will be impacted financially. They will get that.
