If you go for biomethane, and later you find out that carbon is not the problem it was made up to be, you can switch to Natural Gas with absolutely no change in equipment. Methane is methane, regardless of how it has come into this world. Once it hits the distribution infrastructure and vehicles, it’s strictly identical. You won’t have a lot of dead iron standing around.
