New EU Moves Against Scrubbers Could Ultimately Help Them
It sounds strange but we talked about this more than 10 years ago when we negotiated the GATE agreement. It was clear on the horizon that LNG will eventually become the shipping fuel of choice so some bunkering facility should be planned for. When the discussion centered around scrubbers or LNG is said that many will go down scrubber first as they see it as the less risky route just to find out later that LNG was better from the beginning.
