New Paper From Richard Tol: The Economic Impact of Weather and Climate
I grew up as the son of a small, independent tailor. My father’s business never exceeded 5 employees. He was doing Ok by the time’s standards but we were a far cry from the wealthy. One thing I learned from him was “Change the things you can do something about, and don’t even think about those you can’t”. It’s useless to ponder about things that are out of our control. Maybe that’s why I often have trouble making a difference between certain economists and the jugglers at the county fair.
