Just keep piling onto the shipping industry and get ready for the day when shipping companies won’t be able to take the strain anymore. This will raise prices and those price rises will hit populations that are reeling from the effects of COVID and also a much deeper economic crisis. The world economy needs to shrink back to its real size, not the fiction we have built up for decades. People will suffer and suffering people have no patience for policies that make things more expensive. How long until shippers understand that? Force them to clean up their act but this CO2 thing is a job killer and price inflation scheme.
