New UN Climate Row: Alarming Report Contradicts Its Own Data–De Telegraaf
I worked for the United Nations once as a peacekeeper. It was in Syria and I was stationed on the Golan Heights where we were observing the two sides to the ceasefire and disengagement agreement between Israel and Syria. We were told at every twist and turn that it was our role to observe and report. We were not to display any bias to any side. So much for the grunt level. The higher echelons showed very clear bias and thats where I learned decades ago that the UN was not to be trusted. The UN has its own agenda ad thats not what we pay them for. We need to reform this system and I have come to the conclusion that nation-states need to reassert themselves before anything can be reformed. If this means that the UN is dissolved, be it.
