New York City chain saws down 1,000 trees to raise park 8-10 feet to address panic over 3mm sea level rise – Protesters ‘watched in horror’
The really crazy thing is that if you take a stroll just beside the Manhattan West Side Highway today, you will see that the sea level is meters below the surface of the road. According to Hansen, it should have been flooded since 2006. I assume the first levels of the building should be half-submerged by now if that had come true. This is the single most striking evidence of the hot air those climate anarchists spewing. I don’t know on what basis the New York City government has taken this decision but removing trees from cities is gruesome.
