Nigel Farage Demands a UK Net Zero Referendum
Never hold a referendum when you cannot be damn sure what the result is going to be. That was a phrase I was told by an old, retired politician here in Austria. Politicians have an extraordinarily bad gauge for public sentiment. Because they rely on all kinds of more or less biased institutes the measure the pulse of the public. They are all part of the same bubble and not part of the population. There is a silent majority out there and it does not at all follow your thinking. Or what do you think David Cameron? Lets the dices fall as they must.
