Now they’re coming for your garbage – NASA to track landfill methane emissions from space

I have often made the comparison and I think I am not overdoing it. Tropospheric methane content is something like 1900 parts per billion right now. We measure CO2 in parts per million and by that count, Methane is 1,9 ppm. Compared to 430 ppm for CO2. Thats 0,00019% of the air we breathe. Methane is incredibly rarefied in the atmosphere. Measuring changes in such incredibly thin concentrations is like smelling fresh dogshit on a sidewalk in New York while you are in DC and being able to tell what brand of dog food it had the day before. We may not be NASA scientists but we are not that stupid to believe this crap.
