Can we stop talking about ocean acidification? The oceans are basic so if one put acid in there – and in line with the rule that acid and base neuter each other – the oceans become a tiny nit less basic. We are quite some way from becoming a real base. So, as there is no acid, there is no acidification. This is fake news.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
