Off By More Than 99%? It Changes Nothing!
I have read once that the overwhelming majority of all waste plastic comes from just about fice rivers. The majority of them are on the Asian continent. We know where the plastic in the water comes from. We know the countries that are responsible for this. Even if the problem is much smaller than what we were told it is, it’s still a problem. And the solution is simply slapping a duty on all wares and services from the countries that allow this to happen. I bet it would stop very fast.
