Ottawa, Canada is following Germany’s failed climate goals
Following Germany’s energy choices is about as smart as bringing a drag queen to an Amish congregation. But Canada has one ace that Germany has not and I am not even talking about their underground that can quickly be drilled. Their true ace is shale to their south. If the right politicians are in power in the US, a gas pipeline from the Bakken could be built very quickly. This means gas would be a lot cheaper than for a country like Germany that does not even have an LNG import terminal. Canada will suffer, but it will also get out much faster once the madness ends.
