Permian Shale Oil Is Booming Again
This is not like the last boom. This comes on the heels of a period of consolidation, pruning, introspection, innovation, retiring old iron, and cleaning out players and technologies that have not given the best results. This restart comes with a lot of oomph and of course, the limitation of policy that’s not very friendly. But that will change. As I always say, pain creates a reaction and the economic pain Americans are going through due to a lot of recent policies will bring even the most hard-headed politicians around. Shale has shed another skin as it outgrows it now.
