I have said it many, many times and I will undoubtedly say it again many times. People need to feel the consequences for their choices and they will wake up from the slumber and do the right thing. Unfortunately, we have become very good at shielding people from the consequences of their choices so bad things are allowed to snowball. Time to cut down on the softeners.
