In the 70ies, a terror group called the Baader Meinhoff Gang – a splinter group of the RAF – terrorized Germany. They killed and bombed themselves through the country to bring about a communist takeover. They were financially supported by the regimes from the East. They thought they were winning. They thought that terror would bring the West to its knees. When it only built resolve. All ER will do is give governments a handy excuse why people are in the dark. But maybe that’s the objective.
