Political challenges send chill through US gathering of LNG interests
I think in 2020 we are going to have not only one but multiple watershed moments. The US election surely is the culmination point where the fate of the average Joe’s and Janes hangs in the balance. They are going to suffer most from those extreme policies that aim at dismantling everything that reeks of fossil energy. Those pushing such policies either don’t understand the consequences or they simply don’t care. But normal people start to understand how ridiculous this has become and they start to make a change. Just watch what happens in Australia. Canada is happening in one week and we will see what the electorate has to say about the wrecking of their economy while the US thrives. And the people of California and New York must start to ask themselves why their quality of life goes down the drain while others prosper. Envy is a strong motivator.
