Prioritizing climate over pandemics
That is true for many other domains that deserve much more attention. Since everyone’s attention is glued to a crisis that cannot even be established by data but still needs models that fall apart quicker than Chinese ghost towns, nobody looks at the real problems anymore. And anyone who still does is starved of funds and attention. There are still serious environmental problems afflicting this planet. Real problems – not imagined ones. We still have to fight a plethora of viruses, bacteria, and other parasites that kill way more people than COVID ever did. There are still people that are so poor that food is an issue. All issues that are way more worthy of our attention and cash than some unproven theories.
