Putin Calls U.S. Shale “Barbaric”
Sure he does. Its a bigger threat to his grip on power than any Islamic freedom fighters in southern mountains have ever been. Who has seen Russian oil fields, or mines, or cities outside Moscow and St. Petersburg, or industrial estates, or … Get the picture. If shale manages to bring down Russian environmental destruction it would have done an inestimable service to the planet. So Putin is right. Shale is indeed barbaric – to his regime.
