The geopolitical scene has changed more over the last couple of weeks than it has in 8 decades. The soil is shifting beneath our feet as old assumptions and certainties are turned on their head. But is that really so bad? By repealing all assistance from Ukraine Trump has given Ukraine more certainty that they will have to pull through this by themselves. They will have to be willing and able to wrestle the Russian bear down no matter how long it takes. They must become even tougher, even more innovative, even more resilient. Trusting that others will carry their water won’t work forever. Israel earned statehood in the face of incredible odds. They have overcome. So will Ukraine.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
