Qatar assures Japan of ‘stable LNG supply’ as PM wraps up Doha visit

Sure, why wouldn’t they? Japan has been a hell of a customer for Qatar for decades. Reliable, trustworthy, highly-priced markets and always big needs. Not as assertive and bothersome as China is, not as economically fraught as Pakistan, or as unprofitable as Europeans for most of the time. If I was Qatar I would want more Japan and less of the rest of the world.
