Qatar may boost LNG production beyond 126 mtpa
Qatar knows something. They have learned that short downturns in a market are almost meaningless. What counts is cost and longterm developments. Turn it the way you want – the world will need fairly clean fuel for the foreseeable future and it will need rather more than less. LNG is the cleanest fuel of all those so demand will grow overall. Just wait for next year and tell me how much of the current downturn you will remember. Most people can’t see beyond the rims of the glasses.
