Qatar sees gas demand peaking around 2040, much later than IEA predictions
Both got it wrong. Gas demand won’t peak even by 2050 or 2060. By 2030 it will be clear to even the most lead-headed fanatic that a new strong cooling period is upon us and that the planet is freezing up. That will break the narrative. Right now they still grasp at any straw they find. Heatwaves are just welcome but the direction is clear. Until then the debt crisis will have made a big thump and collapsed much of the economy which means we can grow again. No peak in sight.
