Rapid shift in methane carbon isotopes suggests microbial emissions drove record high atmospheric methane growth in 2020–2022

So it’s not oil, gas, or coal. People fail to understand the scale of our Solar System real estate piece and its fundamental mechanisms. In the 70s there were nuclear tests (allegedly) in the Southern Atlantic and the world did not even see them. About 70% of the Earth’s surface is ocean. Over half of the solid part of the Earth’s surface is practically uninhabitable as its arctic, tundra, desert, mountain ranges, and others. A whole continent is practically off-limits. Humanity lives on a very small piece of planet Earth and that’s what we see effectively. What goes on in the massive rest is part mystery. Wrecking economies for assumptions is stupid.
