Reliable & Affordable Energy Is Life Itself: Why Wind & Solar Are Making Us All Worse Off

Not only are we worse off – we lose the basis for all life and we will feel that very painfully pretty soon. It takes energy to produce fertilizer and when that energy is expensive or even impossible to obtain in certain areas, there won’t be fertilizer. This means that much farming in subsistence regions of the planet will either go away or show massive yield drops. I heard that at least 1 billion people are in danger of famine as of this year. Thats not only energy and its cost but it’s a very large factor. If we had made fewer insane choices over the last 20 years, even the Ukraine war disaster would not hit us that badly.

Deprive a well-fed Westerner of energy for more than a few hours and you’ll get their attention. The reliable and affordable power supplies that we’ve taken for granted were built up over a century…

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network.
