RLNG consumers to pay high tolling fee
You can slice them, you can dice them, but those pesky costs are always going to shine through eventually. Floating terminals are expensive – but they have been sold as the cheap solution for landing LNG. Those tanks are tiny by any standards and an FLNG must be really empty when a new cargo turns up. That alone reduces the number of usable slots and hence throughout. No CAPEX means you have higher OPEX. There is no escaping this.
