Russia has potential to produce 160 mln T of LNG a year -Novatek CEO

I have no doubt that Russia has enough gas in the ground to produce 160 mln tons of LNG per year. Could easily be way more. The real issue is – does it have enough money to endlessly support projects that will hardly eve make a dime. At current market prices, Arctic LNG is unsellium. Just like I don’t buy any figures out of China, I don’t buy the rosy numbers we get on how cheap gas in Russia is. Not the new fields.
