Russia is dominating the Arctic, but it’s not looking to fight over it
The Arctic is expensive. That’s not the kind of place you want to be in when you are a bit short on cash. Russia plays way above its league here and the best course of action for everyone else is sit and wait. Because when money becomes even more of an issue than it is right now. When the hype subsides, things will go south real quick. Most of the stuff in the Arctic is too expensive to lift – its called stranded.
