Russia ‘secretly working with environmentalists to oppose fracking’
This article is more than 8 years old. At the time it did not garner much attention. in fact, saying anything remotely negative about Russian gas got you in trouble in European academic circles. I remember years ago I met with a very famous European energy academic and just wanted to discuss the cost stacks of new Russian gas fields. I was looked at as if horns were growing out of my head. Now, of course, everyone always knew. Why did all those not come out of the woodwork before the war?
