The war in Ukraine was a godsend for all politicians worldwide, especially our European homegrown specimen. They can point at the war as the culprit of all the misery their decades of virtue signaling have brought to us. But they made the deal without the piper because all those political parties that want to end support for Ukraine are also the most skeptical about Climate Change and they are in for electoral triumph in almost any country. Also, the coffers are empty and the population is on the ropes in terms of what it can take. Climate Change has peaked. George got this wrong.

I was introduced to and met Rudi in Angola when he started to develop his Sub Saharan Africa network. At the time he worked for EconGas/OMV and he tried organizing longterm LNG supply for them under the unlikeliest of all circumstances.
