Scania introduces LNG-powered long-distance coach
Great, great, great – but they forgot the best. This coach, that runs on LNG, will just as well run on bio-LNG. What needs to be modified? Nothing. Just fill up when bio-LNG becomes available. When you do that, this bus beats any Tesla on emissions. LNG is a great bridge towards emission-less vehicles as it builds a market bio_LNG can cannibalize into later on.
Volkswagen-owned Swedish truckmaker Scania launched its new Interlink Medium Decker coach for liquefied gas (LNG) operations. The long-distance coach has a travel range of up to 1,000 kilometres, Scania said in its statement.
