This is fraud. Pure and simple. There is no way to put a spin on it. They lied and that’s it. If they fabricate data out of thin air, how reliable is anything else they produce? Never mind that they have a massive financial incentive to lie. This should be headlines everywhere for months on end. Those people wreck our economies with their remedies to problems they have invented out of thin air. There must be a consequence to this. As Trump is the new president-elect, he might want to make this a prominent issue. It would justify deep reforms in many areas and also justify cutting spending stuff on Chinese renewable hardware. That may entice him.

Shocking evidence has emerged that points to the U.K. Met Office inventing temperature data from over 100 non-existent weather stations. One such 'ghost' station, Dungeness, closed in 1986 but still reports "observations".
