How anyone still gives any credence to anything the IPCC publishes is beyond me. In a saner world, anyone with such an appalling record of getting things wrong so consistently and without even one single success in terms of predictions to point to would already be completely sidelined. Not in this world which tells me quite a bit about the state of sanity this world exists in. People still do instinctively give credence to those with the big names and the big budgets. My father often told me that reputation is everything when I was a boy. He was wrong.
