Shell projects bright future for LNG beyond short-term pricing challenges
Don’t get me wrong – I want LNG to grow. I am convinced that LNG will grow and I am also more than convinced that LNG is the perfect new backbone fuel for the world’s economy in order to almost everything. Mobility, heat, electricity – you name it. If methane and its liquid manifestation LNG did not exist we would have to invent it. But I am naturally suspicious of overconfident predictions. Now, Shell does not only talk. They work the market – not like many others that just talk and do nothing to grow the market. But will it be enough?
