Shell Takes Majority Stake in Irish Floating Wind Project
Oil companies seem to fall in love with wind and solar. Or is it just the government guaranteed revenue from them? In their normal markets, they need to compete – sort of. And besides, having those pesky greenies on your side also makes for more peaceful sleeping. Never mind that those offshore wind projects are massive money graves. It’s the tax and ratepayers that will cough up the cash. Japan just decommissioned one of those money munchers. But Shell can’t go wrong – and thats all that matters. Why would that which is good for the people mater then?
