Simulators help shape new universal drilling language to reduce human factors
There is still a lot of room at the bottom of oil and gas drilling. Yes, I know we have drilled for stuff for more than 100 years now and sometimes there is a feeling that there is no more new stuff to develop. I learned otherwise some years ago when a drilling engineer explained to me how they use soundwaves to transmit real-time information from the drill head to the drill crew.
