Slash ‘£84 green carbon tax’ to help households, Tory MPs demand

Taxes are expropriation. Don’t believe me? The state takes something that belongs rightfully to you away from you. In the name of social cohesion and to finance the public good for sure but it’s still expropriation. No matter how noble or not the purpose might be, it’s healthy to call things by their real name. So, if taxes are expropriation then lowering or even abolishing a tax hardly is an act of clemency or a gift. The state takes less from what was rightfully yours anyhow and now you are supposed to be grateful for being shaken off less. Most people have no grasp of what is what. That’s why this scam can live on.
