SNP admits to felling 16 million trees to develop wind farms

Most people don’t know that, but Europe and the world reached peak deforestation early in the 19th century when coal became the backbone industrial and heating fuel. The black rock made the world a lot cleaner and safer and saved the forests. When shipbuilders started to use steel instead of wood, forests could start to recover for real. We made great progress towards reforesting over the last 200 years, and now a group of green haters of the Earth are trying to bring the bad old times back. Coal saved the forests, oil saved the whales. But now this all is being undone. That’s progress a la Green alarmist.
